Groovy Graduation

We had a '60s theme again this year, like we did 2 years ago.

We tie-dyed shirts.

Then, I took them home and washed them.

The invitations were rolled to look like tiny dplomas.

Here's what they said.

I used a simple punch to jazz up our goody bags.

Here are the programs (which weren't folded yet).

We had Candy Bar Awards for every child and our aide.

The tables were decorated.

Here is one of the Wow! moments during our performance practice.

Volunteers

Here is what we made for our fantastic volunteers. All 23 of them! The Lifesavers read, "You are a Lifesaver!" and the rock candy read, "You rock!"

The Paper Bag Princess

We read The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch. Then we made costumes and responded to the story!

Mouse Was Mad

The students picked Mouse Was Mad from the library. It's a cute story about anger and calming techniques. :)
